howdy everyone,
so its been a while (no reference to the staind song) since weve updated yall on the happenings/progress of signal hill and we’re not exactly sure were to begin. we’ll take a quick stab on a re-cap of a few months)
- feb 10 marked the release of our debut ep came out. our cd release was a great time at the pehrspace with our dear friend rajiv patel (www.myspace.com/rajivpatel)
- since then we have played shows in support of said ep with great bands and friends (including Beware of Safety, You May Die in The Desert, Panther Attack, Caspian, North, All India Radio, Awake & Alert, Alcoholiday, Caravel & lots of other great bands!) around LA, Vegas, and Phoenix. special thanks to everyone who attended any of those shows!
- in late may we took a brief break as rishi graduated college, and decided to travel a bit which took him to India, New York, London, & Wales. after arriving back, he was staying in san diego for a bit and has recently moved up to la permanently. thus meaning signal hill is now back in action! we have played one show since his arrival and have a few shows coming up very soon (which we will keep you posted on)
- since prior to the ep release, we have been prepping new material for a full length album. we have about 7 songs that are in the bag and ready to be recorded. some of these tracks include (all workable titles)
- The Dead Vineyard
- Research and Development
- The Men Before Us
- More After We’re Gone
- Stunning Clarity
- The Little Superstar
- The Radiator (Ida Cover – instrumental/siggy hill style)
- a live recording of a show from may has 5 of these songs in live unedited format (there’s a few rough parts… ill take some of the blame
