what up ya’ll? hope everyone is doing good. us signal hillians are hard at work polishing up some of the new songs to begin recording a new album. Since our last post (we know, it was a month and a half ago!!!!) we spent a weekend in the bay area playing some great shows. it was a a totally righteous time, and we would like to thank a few peeps for that: form and fate & cloud archive, thanks for allowing us to share the stage with you in sf at the hemlock tavern. you both ruled and it was a pleasure! chris, thank you for your very generous hospitality. we shall mix it up dj style on the roof with bags on our feet for our next trip!
for san jose, the gingerbread house is the best place to play ever! we played with a list of great bands, which included, captain number 1 (athens ga), seamonster (virginia beach va), levator (seattle wa), haunted haus (san jose ca), amonie (san jose, ca) . thank you to team pants for putting us up in sj and sending us out in style with a righteous pancake breakfast!
in other news, signal hill has been working on new songs to begin recording our first full length album. speaking of albums, our dear friends beware of safety have a released it is curtains on vinyl and steve’s third solo album under :thinkstandard: dropped this week! go beg clay to put out an album of his telemarketer calls! happy record shopping!!!!!
