hi everyone,
hope this finds you doing well! couple quick things from the signal hill front that we wanted to share with you.
1. (non signal hill related) ida, who’s one of my favorite all time bands (this is dave here) did an interview on NPR yesterday. hear them talk about their new record, playing children’s songs, and playing two songs (one off their new album, the other off their children’s record with guest vocals by their 6 year old daughter—- ADORABLE). i love it, and decided to throw it out there on the table for peeps who might be interested! :check it here:
2. tomorrow (1-30) we are playing a show at cal state fullerton. its free, its all ages, and it should be fun! check our myspace page for directions addresses and all that sort of stuff!
3. we have made it past round one (grinders) to officially now be in the silent ballet battle of the bands. ironically, we are up against the six parts seven (who happens to be a band that is part of our bio, and we owe some of our existence to them) so its tough for even us to vote against them. you can read details and vote for your favorites by :going here:
4. lastly, our friends beware of safety are in the studio recording…. be prepared for an onslaught of righteousness once this is completed!
