2014, we bid you farewell
welp, another year in the books! where does the time go?!
it was a productive year for us. we put in some solid work writing our new album, and we are super proud of how its coming along! we spent a total of about 15 days together (5 in LA back in feb/march, and 10 this past october in NYC) this year and its paying off.
we compiled a couple of quick random video clips from our LA and NYC writing sessions, both featuring two new demos so you can hear some of what we are up to!
what else happened? hmm. rishi moved to london, thats pretty big news! so we went from being a bi-coastal US band to now being a tri-coastal international band! sounds fancy š if you ever wanted to know how we write and collaborate on new music given our distance, dave wrote a blog post which has a bit of insight to how we do it. take a read here if you wish!
also, we played a show in brooklyn back in october! it was our only show this year and it was a super fun time regrouping with our friends no grave like the sea and north end. we even pulled out luna park for our friend bill gordon; havent played that song since the more after we’re gone album release party mid 2009!
our setlist from the show
- the dead vineyard
- freelance forest
- collide us
- jammertime – new song – working title š
- 2551 hash – new song – also working title
- luna park
here are a couple of clips from the show:
what does 2015 hold? not fully sure yet, though we hope to finish up writing and recording our new album at a minimum. given our progress so far, having a new record next year feels very possible! perhaps play a show or two! some interesting show opportunities have come up, trying to see if we can make em work.
overall, it has been a great year, and while our shows are few and far between, we are doing our best to keep making new music. we sincerely appreciate your support far beyond words and we cant thank you all enough for sticking with us!
and finally, what year end wrap up would it be without sharing some of the music we listened to and some of our favorite shows we attended this year. our individual lists are all below.

Do you have a mailing list to let people know when you are touring?
I am not a fan of Facebook or any of that stuff but I stumbled across your band from Sonos via the Kimock “station” and would love to see you play when on the East Coast
I love your sound.
