“blessed land” – upcoming split with good weather for an airstrike

While we are certainly down to share old music, we also want to touch on another release which will be up for pre-order soon! Our first new music since Alturas was released nearly 3 years ago. A split 7″ brings a new song called “blessed land” alongside our new friend good weather for an airstrike.  More details coming soon, but we can say it’s one of our favorite songs we have ever written. All of our releases since more after we’re gone have had some sort of distance in the writing process, this was the first song we ever wrote and recorded 100% separately. written and recorded in 3 different cities and 2 countries, it finds maybe the best blend of all of our collective influences and vision of the band. The good weather for an airstrike song, (which his catalog is stacked with amazing music!) is so good. We are honored to partner up with him for this release. more details coming on that VERY soon and you can sign up to be notified of the pre-order here.  It will be available in 7″ record format, digital download and across all streaming services.

signal hill good weather for an airstrike split cover

we are super excited about both of these super special projects, as we near the 15th birthday of the band. we can’t thank you enough for following along with us over the years and looking forward to sharing even more music your way soon 🙂

As a rare person to have seen both Cap N’ Jazz and Signal Hill play live (weird flex but, lol- it was in Philly and West Chester), I liked seeing that tweet. I vaguely remember recognizing the phrase at one point.

Anyway, “More After We’re Gone” is a top ten album for me for sure- any notes regarding the remaster? Any points of emphasis that you wanted to improve the sound of? I feel like it already had stunning clarity…
